Conny is currently elected to Sacramento County Central Committee from the 9th Assembly District, and served during the 2009-10 term by mid-term appointment. She is past chair of the Fundraising Committee, current chair of the Resolutions and Platform Committee, and has served on the Campaign Services Committee and Strategic Development Committee. Elected to the State Democratic Central Committee in 2009, she is a member of the California Democratic
Party Progressive Caucus.

Conny is a charter member of Wellstone Progressive Democrats of Sacramento and a member of Stonewall Democrats of Greater Sacramento. She estimates she’s rang somewhere over 2,500 doorbells for a variety of candidates and especially enjoys communicating progressive views on issues before Sacramento City Council.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Southern California and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Southern California. She has worked for the State of California since college and has two grown children.
