Devin has been involved in progressive politics his entire life. His parents met as organizers for the United Farm Workers’ Union. He began precinct walking shortly after taking his first steps. He works for the California Health Care Coalition, which seeks to improve the quality and efficiency of health care in California. In the past, he has worked for Sierra Club, Assembly Member Carol Liu and various political campaigns. He also helped to found the New Leaders Council (newleaderscouncil.org), a National program to train, mentor and develop young progressive leaders. He is now working to expand it to Sacramento.

Devin is a graduate of Pomona College, Oakland Technical High School and the San Francisco School of Bartending. He enjoys spending time with his dog, Coco and is an avid dodgeball player (xososports.com).
