Evan Hawkins has been involved in Sacramento politics and government since graduating from the University of California at Berkeley in the spring of 2008. He has worked on multiple campaigns in the region and served as the Executive Director for the Democratic Party of Sacramento County before becoming the Communications Chair in January of 2011.

Evan is dedicated to the Democratic Party's values and vision. In his role as Communications Chair, he has worked on focusing the party's message locally and increasing social media and online communication to the voters of Sacramento County. Evan hopes to continue to assure the Democratic Party uses traditional and new media efficiently to communicate with voters and constituents.
