Kerri is a lifelong Democrat and is elected to the Sacramento County Democratic Central Committee from the 5th AD. She first joined the Central Committee as an alternate member in the ’07 term. Since that time she has served on the fundraising committee, campaign services committee, done voter registration and helped set up the Northeast Democratic Headquarters for the November ’08 election.

Kerri is a proud Progressive Democrat and founding member of the Wellstone Democratic Club of Sacramento. She is also the Vice President of Programs for Women Democrats of Sacramento County. She is active with several other Democratic clubs and organizations in the state and county. She has phonebanked and precinct walked for candidates ranging from school board to Congress.

Kerri is a special education teacher in the Twin Rivers Unified School District. She grew up in Sacramento and is a graduate of the University of California, Davis. She is active with her union, Twin Rivers United Educators and CTA.
