MISSION STATEMENT:

WHEREAS, the Women Democrats of Sacramento County believe every woman is entitled to certain basic rights, including protection of civil liberties, reproductive choice, access to health care, a clean and safe environment, a living wage for work performed and the freedom and ability to live with dignity.

WHEREAS, the Women Democrats of Sacramento County believe our elected officials are responsible for ensuring these basic rights, we will support and actively work to elect those officials.

THEREFORE, to ensure these rights are available for future generations, the Women Democrats of Sacramento County will actively promote and advocate for local, State, and national legislation that provides and protects these rights.

MEETINGS:

When: Meetings are held the third Monday of every month, except July. Meetings start at 6:30 PM, but come at 6:00 PM to meet and visit with your fellow Democrats. BYOBB (bring your own brown bag), if desired. Light refreshments will be served. We generally adjourn by 8:30 PM.
