The RACE FOR DEMOCRACY is a picnic fundraising event, sponsored by the Sacramento Central labor Council AFL-CIO and the Citizens-Independent-Democratic FUND (CID FUND) to raise money for effective field operations to increase voter participation and elect Democratic candidates. Be among the first 3,000 patriots and labor supports in a scenic run/walk through beautiful William Land Park, and stay for the Sacramento Central Labor Council Annual Labor Day Picnic.
