The Neighborhood Leader Program is designed to help the Democratic Party of Sacramento County (DPSC) reach out to voters in every precinct. Neighborhood leaders will connect with voters in their precinct through a number of communication channels: by phone, in person, online, through social gatherings, etc. The goal of the Neighborhood Leaders is to get connected to the voters in their precinct, serve as a resource for the neighborhood and help elect candidates that are endorsed by the DPSC.

As a neighborhood leader your goals are to:

1. To identify yourself as the Democratic Neighborhood Leader to your neighbors;
2. Update their current information (address, phone number, email) in your voter list;
3. To engage your neighbors in our efforts of community activism and the electoral process;
4. Hold house parties; and
5. Participate in voter registration.
