The Voter Registration Committee of the Democratic Party of Sacramento County invites you to join us Saturday and Sunday, August 18 & 19, 2012 at the 3rd Annual Banana Festival in William Land Park. We’ll represent the Democratic Party at the event, registering voters, enlisting members and volunteers, and answering the public’s questions.

National Academic Youth Corps and the Sojourner Truth Multicultural Art Museum present the 3rd annual Banana Festival – celebrating community, culture and health. From August 18th through August 19th, William Land Park in Sacramento, CA will host the extensive lineup of music, art, food and entertainment at the 2012 Banana Festival. This year’s festival will celebrate healthy environment, lifestyles and eating as well as the many cultures in Asia, Africa and the Americas which use the banana as a source of food, art and culture.
The 2012 Banana Festival “Bananarama” will be a celebration of health, environment, art, music, culture, education and food. Some of the highlights include: Bananarama Health Pavilion will focus on a variety of health related experiences and educational opportunities.
