Assembly Delegates to CA Democratic Conventions Selected at Public Meetings
On the weekend of January 12-13, Assembly Delegate Election Meetings (ADEMs) will take place across California. Every two years, the CA Democratic Party selects delegates to the California Democratic Convention from each State Assembly district via the ADEMs process. Each Assembly District sends 12 delegates, 6 men and 6 women. You can learn more about ADEMs, find information on your district’s meeting date, time and location, lists of candidates, and other FAQs by visiting the CA Democratic Party’s ADEMs homepage. And if you are not sure in which Assembly District you reside, click here for a handy look-up tool.

You must attend your district’s ADEM and vote in order to have a say in who represents you; and while the candidates are given the opportunity to speak before balloting closes, you can attend, register, vote and then leave if you don’t care to stay for the full meeting.
The DPSC strongly encourages you to attend your ADEM and vote for the candidates of your choice.
